Harmon's

My mom wanted to take me to the brand spankin new Harmon's store that just opened near their home. Holy cow, I had no idea your local grocer could be so fun! This place had it all..food, bakery with homemade truffles and other chocolates, already prepared bacon wrapped meats, mixers, blenders everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. I've never seen anything like it.What you see above in the rectangle/square is their little deli/wok, yes that's right, wok bar. It's surrounded by all sorts of delicious cheeses. Isn't cheese a treat? Who doesn't feel dainty and posh while munching on brie and crackers with their girlfriends?

We went for the gelato. So good. I chose the white choc mint with a little bit of coffee to top it off.
Here I am in the upstairs eating area with my new haircut and mom. This upstairs has a fireplace and professional kitchen with glass windows to look in and watch. They also offer cooking classes! I would love to go to a few. Also notice the pretty snow capped mountains in the background. I do miss the mountains. Mountains and super stores like Super target and now super Harmon's. Escondido needs to get with the it.
